Acacia Meyer

Acacia is a junior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Social Science Quantitative Data Analytics. After graduation, she plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology to become a pain psychologist. She is interested in learning about mental health and chronic illness. In her free time, Acacia enjoys working out, spending free time with friends, and reading.

Adeline Elute

Adeline is a senior at MSU majoring in Psychology and Business. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and work towards becoming a practicing clinical psychologist. Her research interests primarily lie in psychopathology and cognition. During her free time, you might catch her traveling, spending time outdoors, going to the movies or hanging out with friends.

Autumn Hart

Autumn is a senior in Lyman Briggs College pursuing a Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience major. She is interested in studying how substance abuse physically alters the brain, and how the resulting behavioral expressions have social implications in the field of law and psychology. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a Masters/PhD with a focus in forensics. In her free time, Autumn enjoys hiking, hammocking, listening to music, and exploring with friends.

Ava Skaff

Ava is a junior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Human Behavior and Social Services. She is interested in the field of clinical psychology and researching psychopathology and treatment options for mental health disorders. After graduation, Ava intends to pursue graduate school to become a licensed therapist. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, crocheting, and being outside.

Emma Craft

Emma is a senior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Cognitive Science. She is interested in how the brain and nervous system influence certain thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. After her undergrad, she plans to attend medical school and pursue a career in Psychiatry to assess the treatment of mental illnesses and psychiatric disorders. In her free time, you’ll find her hanging with her friends, cooking, golfing, or watching The Kardashians and Jersey Shore.

Estelle Matthews

Estelle is a Michigan State University Alum. She holds her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Psychology. She plans on attending graduate school in pursuit of a Doctorate of Psychology. She is passionate about psychological advocacy work and uplifting voices of marginalized people of all backgrounds. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, reading, and learning to play new instruments

Jenny Warkentien

Jenny is a senior at MSU majoring in Psychology with minors in Cognitive Science and Human Behavior and Social Services. After graduation, she aspires to pursue a Ph.D. in clinical psychology to administer research and/or practice clinically. She is primarily interested in researching novel interventions for psychopathology (e.g., PTSD, anxiety, depression). She hopes to narrow down those interests through her experience working as an RA. During her free time, she likes to go hiking, dance, and cook.

Kaitlyn Wilcox

Kaitlyn is a junior at MSU majoring in Psychology and Human Biology with a minor in Creative Writing. After graduation, she hopes to pursue an M.D. and work towards becoming a cardiovascular surgeon. She is interested in learning more about mental health and the ties between the brain and the body. During her free time, she likes listening to music, reading books, gardening, and going on walks

Lauren Patrick

 Lauren is currently a junior pursuing a B.S in Neuroscience and a minor in Bioethics. After graduation, she plans on attending medical school and pursuing a career in ophthalmology or psychiatry. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering, hiking, and photography.

Ling Peng

Ling (she/her) is a first year DO medical student at MSU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine. She graduated from MSU in 2019 with a BS in Psychology and was a member of the Clinical Psychophysiology Lab throughout her undergraduate career. She ultimately hopes to apply her experience and knowledge to her practice as an osteopathic physician.

Maliah Hightower

Maliah is a junior double majoring in Psychology and Kinesiology with minors in Dance and Youth and Society. She loves working with kids and learning about the connections between the brain, body, and mental illness. After graduating, she plans to pursue a Masters/PhD in Clinical Psychology and continue working with children. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends, dancing, and baking.

Megan Jensen

Megan is a senior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Human Behavior and Social Services. She is interested in clinical psychology and more specifically, anxiety-related mental health disorders within adolescents and adults and the different treatment options for anxiety disorders. After graduation, she hopes to go to graduate school and pursue a master’s or Ph.D. degree in clinical psychology. In her free time, Megan loves spending time with her family playing board games, watching The Office, and supporting her brother who is a professional esports gamer!

Natalie Hollis

Natalie is a senior double majoring in Criminal Justice and Psychology with a minor in LGBTQ+ and Sexuality Studies. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. Her research interests include child development and psychopathology; she hopes to research intervention methods for treating severe anxiety and trauma-related disorders in children and adolescents within special populations, particularly LGBTQ+ youth. She enjoys reading, watching movies, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
